It's been an entire week since I posted! Omg! Sadly not much has happened since then. I was hoping I could post saying something like 'Married last week in Vegas. Also, found out that am reincarnation of second century Chinese priest. Have a good week y'all.' Yeah, that didn't happen, so you're stuck with 'Had breakfast again today. Also brushed teeth. Twice.' I cannot fathom why anybody reads this blog.
For everybody who's concerned about the fact that I've stopped posting (there has to be somebody who cares right?!), don't worry, it will pick right back up after school starts. I'm one of those people who gets uncontrollably creative when I have other work that I should really be doing. One of the many reasons why, when my relatives gave me cash for passing tenth, I asked them whether they would prefer it sent back by mail or they'd like checks instead when I got my results. Speaking of that cash, it's all gone. What is this saving thing that so many people speak of? It is a foreign concept to me. Oh, by the way, I found a picture of myself from the future a few weeks back. Here it is:
Hey y'all how's it going? I. Love. My. New. Camera. It's awesome (and blue!). I would post some of the pictures I've taken but I'm too lazy to fetch the cord. Just believe me when I say they rock.
By the way, I was walking down the street with my friends the other day when we saw this adorable dog. Nathasha said it was a Shiatzu ( I thought that was a lesser type of Japanese martial arts. Apparently it's a dog) and I said it was a Scottish terrier. So we asked the lady with the dog what breed it was and she said it was a miniature something-starting-with-S. And I've been trying to remember the name of that dog the whole of today morning so that I can go and stare at cute pictures of it on the Internet but I can't! Here is a picture I drew of it so that if anyone knows what breed it is, you can tell me.
This is like the time I was trying to tell my friends what kind of chaat I wanted. We were at Shankar Bhel (which uses mineral water, by the way. Go check it out.) and I was trying to remember the name of this awesome thing I had once at a different chaat place. The problem was I couldn't describe it, I couldn't tell them what it was called and I couldn't order anything else because I knew that not-the-thing-I-was-looking-for would just make me sad. Here is what I actually said to the chaat wallah: "Um, it comes like in a plate, like a lot of it on a plate and you kind of lift it and put it in your mouth? Oh, and, its got like all this stuff on it!"

Oh Joanna, I'm so proud that you were finally able to grow some sort of moustache. Has your voice broken yet? Please tell me it's broken, you sad failed Viking.

MS Paint. Still relevant. |
I got sev puri in the end. Sigh.
So the reason I'm actually writing this post is because of the lady who owned the WHAT-IS-THAT-THING-CALLED?!. After we walked off we were trying to figure out what she was (A white person! I have heard so much about you!). I said she was Hungarian (because my gym trainer used to be Hungarian and she looked exactly like her) and Nathasha said Australian. We were on the verge of going back and asking her what breed she was but then we decided against it. That dog was adorable but she could probably incite it to violence if she got seriously offended.
There's been a recent influx of foreigners into Bangalore and I think this is really, really nice. If any expats read this blog I'd just like to say come on in, put your feet up and make yourselves at home. You are absolutely welcome here. It's brilliant being able to walk down the street and see black skin, various shades of brown, white skin, tinges of yellow and even blue skin (some of them like cricket! Where have y'all been all my life?!) So, for what it's worth, I really like having you guys here and I hope you stay a while.
Blogging is as much fun as I remember. It's Monday again but have a good day anyway.
